On both paths A risk assessment decides guarding, welding screens and fume extraction. A collaborative arm does not remove arc radiation, fumes, spatter, hot parts, pinch points or the motion of the torch and surrounding equipment.

Machines wait for an operator to load the next part — or operators spend whole shifts doing it.

Cobots and flexible automation

Collaborative robots work close to people and are quick to re-teach, which suits changing tasks and smaller batches. Collaborative does not mean automatically safe: every application still needs its own risk assessment, and some still need guarding.

ReBots, the Eurobots spin-off, works on newer technologies: cobots, AMRs, vision and mobile manipulation. A proof of concept tests the riskiest part of an idea on real parts and gives a clear go/no-go.

A successful robot application needs more than a robot.

A working robotic application brings together the robot, tooling, sensing, control, safety, material flow, software and the people responsible for operating and supporting it. The engineering work is not only selecting each component, but making sure the complete system fits the process.

Different scopes, agreed per project

Robot and equipment supply
Eurobots supplies new and refurbished robots, components and spare parts. Supplying equipment does not by itself include integration.
Application concept
Reviewing the process and outlining a technical direction: robot type, tooling, sensing and layout.
Feasibility and proof of concept
Testing the uncertain part of an idea on real parts before committing to the complete system.
Agreed engineering and implementation
Eurobots designs, simulates, programs offline, commissions and supports robotic cells where that work is part of the agreed scope.
Customer, integrator and specialist responsibilities
Work assigned to you, your integrator or specialist suppliers stays with the party named in the project scope.

For every project, final machine safety validation, commissioning and acceptance are defined in the agreed scope.
